In the current global economic crisis conditions, more than ever, we need new models and new solutions for the reconstruction of the national and international monetary systems, which, with all its negative aspects, is a changing reality that must be scientifically investigated in order to permanently improve for meeting the requirements of national economies and the global economy.
For this reason it\'s welcome to analyze the monetary mechanism theory addressed by Professor Paul Bran in his paper “Monetary mechanism”, according to whom “international monetary issues debate is rather a non-stop activity, economic and monetary events are on the daily agenda and the monetary pathway is mandatory for any economic action on national or international levels” that is valid even nowadays.
