The status quo of economic science brings together four avatars: (A) maintaining the separation between subject and object, similar to the case of natural sciences; (B) maintaining the concept of the truth from natural sciences (including the Popperian falsifiability); (C) maintaining the bivalent logic (true values: true and, respectively, false); (D) maintaining the formalism from physics and mathematics. The vision proposed further, understood as preparing the maturing of economics discipline, takes on five objectives: (1) reintroduction of the economic subject into the economic process (through the concept of logic living system); (2) abandonment of the concept of correspondence-truth and its replacement with the concept of teleological-truth (by replacing the predictive sentence with the prescriptive sentence); (3) abandonment of the bivalent logic, based on correspondence-truth, and its replacement with a tetravalent logic, based on teleological-truth (including, if there is the case, by relaxing the logic principle of non-contradiction); (4) introduction of a set of specific numbers that will ensure the economic measurement – discreet, final and non-punctual (through the concept of economic numbers); (5) development of a specific economic formalism (by replacing optimality with sustainability, as criterion for economic decision).
