Starting with modern times, science seems to have gained superiority to religion, its discourses being universally accepted at the expense of the religious visions. Most of the contemporary scholars firmly believe that science cannot reconcile with religion. This view emerges mainly from the conviction that science rests on accurate, objective and verifiable observations, while religion bases its ideas on apriority, subjectivity and love, without means for probation. Although in the modern age of science the subject of its dialogue with religion seemed profoundly unrealistic and outdated, nowadays this subject attracts an increased concern. Moreover, the current challenges posed by progress of science provides new opportunities for questioning the issues such as the architecture of the universe and its birth, the existence of a personal God, the findings about evolution, the plausibility of the notion of soul or spirit, the belief in a purposeful complexity of the universe and nature, making these debates more attractive than ever. In this context, this article proposes a critical analysis on the relationship between science and religion and offers arguments in favour of promoting interdisciplinary in general knowledge. The article argues that in the space of scientific approach, no other type of knowledge should be excluded.
