The current work refers to the types of financing sources and the afferent instruments used by the Transnational Corporations (TNC) to fulfil their financing needs. Therefore this work consists of two parts. The first part represents a literature review of the theoretical debates upon financing sources; meanwhile, the more important second part consists of an empirical study regarding the financing sources used by the TNC’s Romanian branches. The empirical study is based on an exploring survey meant to identify potential trends and phenomena regarding the use of different financing sources by the TNC’s Romanian branches.
