The subject of outsourcing has become more and more discussed during the past few years in our country. The usage of outsourcing registers an upward evolution in Romania, mainly due to the fact that, from more viewpoints, our country represents a favorable field for outsourcing: the low costs of the labor force, the existence of specialists within this field, the benefit of the investment, etc.
The outsourcing process which may be used within any field of activity, along with its specific forms, bring forth a series of advantages for the romanian enterprises: focusing on the basic competences, using the individual resources for the activities that can be best developed, different fiscal advantages, the existence of certain quality services, the more efficient distribution of the internal resources etc., yet, it may also imply certain shortcomings/risks: the difficulty in establishing the domains/activities that are to be subject to outsourcing, the reduced dimensions of the enterprises, difficulties in the correct management of the contracts, the unpredictability of the additional costs, etc.
